Our construction company served as the Construction Manager for this 150-beds hospital, located in the northern part of Albuquerqe, NM. Extensive on-site work, including pilings, was required for this project. We've faced a brutal winter weather, along with the hospital location along the Rio Grande shoreline. Though such forces of nature challenged the construction team, we managed to build the project few weeks ahead of the schedule!

About

Lighting Design: Incorporate a variety of lighting options to extend the terrace’s usability into the evening hours. This includes ambient lighting with overhead fixtures or string lights, task lighting for dining and cooking areas, and accent lighting to highlight landscaping or architectural features. Consider solar-powered or energy-efficient lighting solutions to minimize energy consumption. Greenery and Landscaping: Integrate greenery and landscaping elements to soften the terrace and enhance its connection with nature. This may include potted plants, vertical gardens, herbs, shrubs, or even small trees depending on the available space. Create a balanced mix of plant sizes and varieties to provide visual interest and privacy where desired. Outdoor Kitchen and Entertainment: If applicable, design an outdoor kitchen or bar area equipped with essential amenities such as a grill, sink, refrigerator, and storage for utensils and cookware. Incorporate entertainment options such as a sound system, outdoor TV, or fire pit to create a versatile space for gatherings and relaxation. Comfort and Weather Protection: Provide shade and weather protection with options like umbrellas, pergolas, awnings, or retractable canopies. This ensures comfort during sunny days and extends the usability of the terrace during light rain or cooler weather. Consider adding heating elements such as fire pits, outdoor heaters, or portable propane heaters to extend the terrace’s use into colder seasons. By focusing on these elements, you can create a stylish and functional outdoor living space for Ama Terrace that enhances its appeal, provides a welcoming environment for relaxation and entertainment, and complements its surroundings effectively.
